Our warmest thank you to all of our participants,
speakers, vendors and sponsors of the 2024 Walk for Life!
We could not have done it without you!
We look forward to seeing you again in 2025.
The walk/race
As the signature event of the EVECE Foundation, this 5K Run/Walk supports mental health awareness, prevention, education, and youth development.
EVECE (pronounced eh-va-see), the acronym of initials, The EVECE Foundation, Inc. was established in 2020 in honor and remembrance of
Christopher Redding Edwards II and Erin Victoria Edwards (2019).
EMPOWERED PURPOSE
The purpose of our Walk for Life event is to remember, celebrate, and share the lives of Chris and Erin; who they were, all they loved, the contributions they made to the world, and the gifts they left behind. But we will not stop there. We will celebrate all the lives taken by depression, substance abuse, suicide, gun violence, and other leading causes of death among youth in our country today.
